Your responsibilities and skills will include:
- Assembly of parts manufactured in house to drawing
- Parts measurement and quality control
- Completing documentation and paperwork
- Management of workload to achieve deadlines
- Communicating with those required to keep them updated
- Using computer systems: Autodesk Fusion 360, Outlook, Google Docs
- Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
A background in precision engineering is sought after – as a machinist or equivalent role.

CNC MILLER

We are looking to add to an already experienced and successful team. We provide a design and manufacture service providing small batch products for the Superyacht and Race yacht industry.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to expand their knowledge and expertise through training courses for career development as part of their role, including but not limited to Autodesk Fusion 360.
We currently have a vacancy for a machinist to run a CNC Milling machine with Siemens ShopMill.
This role involves programming (conversational at the machine and/or off line using Fusion 360), setting and operating.
The right candidate will be able to work under their own initiative after a period of settling in.
Experience of Fusion 360 (or other CAD software) is a bonus but not essential.
This is a very interesting role for the right person.
Responsibilities:
To manufacture components within tolerances specified on drawings
To program the CNC machines from drawings provided
To set up tooling and stock for the job in hand
To monitor machines performance and assess for any maintenance requirements
To keep the machines in a clean and tidy condition
To work as part of a team to get jobs done when required
To record and report time spent on jobs
Skills:
Technical Drawing ability a bonus
Diligent, hardworking individual with good attention to detail
Minimum of two years CNC machining

FINISHER AND WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Your responsibilities and skills will include:
- Using a variety of finishing systems to finish machined components, to include files, DA sander, fibre wheels, polishing wheels and bead blast equipment
- Drive between suppliers and the workshop to deliver and collect parts (own car required, mileage paid)
- Tidying and cleaning down the workshop area when required
- Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
