
Nick Black
Partner / Designer
A qualified naval architect, specialising in the field of composite rig design and advanced mechanical engineering. Before joining Rigging Projects in 2015, Nick worked with FutureFibres as Team Design Leader, managing both performance multi and mono-hull mast and rigging projects from inception through to sea-trial. Previous to this he ran and project managed multiple offshore race programmes specialising in deck and systems design.

Scott Gray
Partner / Running Rigging Specialist
Specialising in running rigging, Scott has worked as a rigger for three Volvo Ocean Race teams including the 2011/12 winner Groupama. In the 2014/15 edition of the race he supplied running rigging to the entire fleet as the one design supplier. Scott has raced a variety of boats since a young age and began his career as a composite mast builder at Southern Spars. More recently he has been specialising in multihull rigging packages and worked with Groupama Team France on the development of their AC45 Turbo before joining Rigging Projects in 2017 to lead the running rigging division.

Tobias Hochreutener
Partner / Consultant
The founder of Rigging Projects, Tobias, worked as Technical Sales Manager for a number of years at one of the largest pioneering rigging manufacturers before setting out to create an independent and unbiased rigging business in 2014.He is involved with leading race teams, from the America’s Cup to the Maxi circuit, as well as sailing on superyachts and singlehanded racing.Tobias is vastly experience on both sides of the sales and purchasing transaction, both as the buyer and seller.

Miles Amin
General Manager
With over 35 years’ experience in the marine industry Miles brings a unique understanding of our clients’ needs and expectations, along with a deeply rooted technical rigging background. Having been a key figure for many years at one of our partners, Future Fibres,Miles’ experience and reputation is well known and respected across the industry.

Andy Meiklejohn
Consultant / Project Manager
Andy has an extensive background in yacht racing having competed in the Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup, TP52, Mini Maxi and superyacht regattas. He has worked extensively in the rigging industry for both suppliers and clients pioneering some now commonplace technology. This extensive combination of technical knowledge and sailing experience allows us to offer clients comprehensive advice and service on all sailing and rigging related projects.

Jason Carr
Project Manager
Representing Rigging Projects in America, Jason is a vastly experienced project manager and yachtsman, with many accolades such as maxi and 12 Metre world champion titles to his name. Playing to his strength and knowledge, Jason manages all client relations on behalf of Rigging Projects in the USA.

Antoine Delaperriere
Designer
Coming from a Formula 1 engineering background and years of delivering innovative design solutions to the upper echelons of the mast and deck hardware industry, Antoine is a key part of the Rigging Projects design team.

Paul Grant
Office Manager
Before joining Rigging Projects, office manager ‘Pondy’, held similar positions with other, highly respected businesses in our industry. His product and technical knowledge, with a particular focus on superyachts, is second to none.

Based in our Hamble, UK office, Matt is the link between our design department and the project management team.
